Camelia began the road to language on Byron's birthday as she began mumbling some "Da" sounds, and now has progressed into quite the little communicator. The resonant chords of "Daddy!" echo in the house upon his arrival home. She dances with delight when he returns home from work and is gradually becoming less of a Mommy's-Girl and more of a socialite. We love her to bits! She has an expanding vocabulary since she turned 1 and can say:
- Mommy
- Daddy
- Geeg (Gigi)
- Baba (bottle)
- Ba Ba Ba (please)
- Pear
- Mehr (more!)
- Me! Me! (says this when she wants something)
- etc.
The girls are sweet friends and love giving kisses and hugs to each other. Gilana still looks out for her sister with requests for extra food and toys. Gigi tries to pick Camelia up to carry her places, but given the very small disparity between their weight, this often ends poorly.
We are loving our time with these darlings.
