Merry Christmas Tasha

 To my love,

There is nothing I could give you that you don’t all ready have. You won my affections, you capture my heart, and everything I own is yours. I desire to always make you happy and mourn all the ways I fall short.

Thank you for all you do for our family. Your children will grow up and call themselves blessed. I appreciate the time you invest growing as a mom, wife, and Christian. The fruit of patience and humility are beautiful in you.

Tasha, you are a virtuous woman. Your chastity and modesty are my treasure. Your joy and kindness are my light. Your prudence and wisdom are my gain. Your beauty is my crown. Who can measure your worth to me? You are fun, silly, and you work so hard.

I love being married to you. Waking up with you starts my day with joy and I eagerly come home to you at night. The proverb is true of me; I found a good thing and received favor from God when I received you.

Merry Christmas my sweet bride. May your joy in Christ be full, knowing every good thing comes from Him! Praise the LORD.

I am yours

Ellie Giggled

How I wish I had gotten that lovely melody on video, but alas, I was but moments too late!  She enjoyed some quiet time with me after her sisters went to bed (and after the biggest spit-up ever recorded).  I snuggled her, talked to her, and listened happily as she cooed back.  Then I blew on her neck and she erupted in the cutest little gurggly baby giggle there ever was.  The angels were singing praises to the Lord through this sweet pure moment of a lovely babe delighting in the simple blessings.  Musing upon those sweet moments with her makes my mother's heart rejoice.

The Day of My Delight

Today is a magnanimous day
A day that delights and revives me
It is a time to rejoice the grace
Of the truest blessing in my life.

My dearest friend
My closest ally
Father to our babes
Provider of our Home

He holds my hand
He grips my heart
With an abandon
Lost to all.

My Love so true
Beyond all compare
So rich and kind
Albeit staggers me

None can fathom the Divine
Grace that marked me worthy
To be the Sweetheart
Set apart to such a wife as I.

Today his birth I celebrate,
Eternal worth
As Heaven-sent mirth
Delights my heart daily.

I cherish his thoughts
His most eager work
Every capability
Gifted by Providence aid

Most blessed of all
Am I to have wed
The man I describe
My husband, my head.

Happy Birthday My Love
